In 1933, Rotary International held its 24th convention in Boston, MA, USA, from 26-30 June with 8,430 in attendance. Rotary's president was from Albuquerque, NM. General Secretary was Chesley Perry. Paul Harris remained active as president emeritus. During the convention, a radio broadcast was arranged heard "of the air" that if they have "Love of 'men' in their heart," then they are potential Rotarians.
